Professional History

Kristina Lopez graduated in 2016 from the University of Arizona with a Bachelors of science in Psychology and minor in Astronomy. She started working at the Planetary Science institute in 2019 as part of the SPC software team on the OSIRIS REx mission. During the mission she contributed to the development of the Bennu shape models that were used by the space craft for sample collection. Currently, she is working with the Planetary Data System's Small Bodies Node archive team on the PDS mission data migrations. She also assists with PDS conference outreach and improving archive user experience.
