Research Interests
Dr. Anton Ivanov's primary research objective is to study the Polar Layered Deposits (PLD) and seasonal ice caps of Mars.
Professional History
Before joining PSI in 2007, Dr. Ivanov was at JPL where he served as a data processing specialist in Mars Subsurface Sounding Radar (MARSIS) on ESA’s Mars Express spacecraft. He is also Investigation Scientist for the DAN Instrument (IKI/Roscosmos - Russia) on the Mars Science Laboratory rover.
