Kids Learn About Meteorites At STEAM Event


PSI participated in STEAM Sunday at Children’s Museum Tucson. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math. 

Above, PSI Research Scientist and Education Specialist Sanlyn Buxner shows how the Infrared (IR) camera depicts the heat signature of a meteorite sample's difference from other materials. 

Below, PSI Research Assistant Maya Bakerman discusses the properties of meteorite samples with a young attendee.
